SUMMARY: Bully Culture at Victoria Hospital ('Lift Psychology', Swindon), Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Trust [AWP] Marianne spent 15 years pursuing justice after losing her livelihood, mental stability and home, for whistleblowing a bully culture at Victoria Hospital, Swindon (now 'Lift Psychology'). Marianne was 2nd of FOUR whistleblowers ignored by Avon & Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership Trust (AWP), who likewise ignored corroboration by their own solicitor, a decent man who eventually walked out on them (as did his replacement). Marianne endured an ongoing hate campaign by bully manager, Dr Elizabeth Howells and sycophant, Mrs Barbara Stapleton (paid as Marianne's mentor, yet repeating vile hearsay from the bully, adding her own fictitious account, in exchange for promotion & favours). Rather than unbiased investigation, apology & fair compensation, FOUR successive CE's refused to listen; believing bungling 'investigations' lead by Dr Anne Booth (Oxford Health), Christopher Stancliffe (AWP Board) & Alan Metherall (AWP Board). Documents were withheld or altered; hearsay from the bully passing as 'truth' to Board level, where senior staff shamefully joined in. This story was airbrushed by Lift Psychology; mental health professionals running public stress management courses whilst failing to acknowledge this shameful part of their history. AWP paid £tens of thousands in legal fees to Bevan Brittan, a firm now specializing in supporting NHS Trusts, preventing unrepresented victims reaching Tribunals to testify. This drains NHS resources, exacerbates the suffering of victims and maintains the shameful bully culture across the UK NHS. Marianne's testimonies were ignored by AWP Board, naively believing the bully because of her professional position - the senior psychologist who (ironicall)y helped design the MSc. in Mental Health Practice, whose motto was, 'together we can make a difference.'
